Flooring Renovation at Four Seasons Hotel Cold Storage Areas
At the Four Seasons Hotel, the existing metal flooring in the cold storage units underwent a comprehensive renovation. The worn-out paint and rust were completely removed through polishing. To repair the joints, Metal Repair Paste was applied.
The prepared surface was then primed with Carboline Carboguard 60 and reinforced with a layer of quartz sand. For additional strength, a Fiberglass Mesh layer was installed across the floor. Following this, the UK-manufactured Flowcrete Flowfresh SL was applied in two coats at the specified thickness and further reinforced with quartz sand.
One of the key advantages of this system is its antibacterial property, enabled by the presence of Polygiene silver ions, which help prevent bacterial growth on the surface. Moreover, the coating is highly durable and resistant to temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C, making it an ideal solution for the food industry.
